Home Salons

Goal: To experience the surprise that every line is a good line when studying living things.

We enjoy bringing artistic skill-building Nature Salons to children and their families in their homes and homeschool environments. These more intimate settings help to build better connections through sharing and experimentation.

Our one- to three-hour home sessions focus on exploring the intersection of science and art. Students will develop stronger Nature illustration and science writing skills, while learning that when you are studying nature, there are no mistakes in art. At the end of the session, young participants are encouraged to become Field Guide Ambassadors, contributing to their local environment through activities.

We have designed an array of Nature topics for children to study the flora and fauna of your watershed. To view a sample of our Nature topicsĀ click here.
